Homeless: Eight stories of real lives, Buckinghamshire, England, 2022

In November 2022, Craig was invited to collaborate with two charities: Aylesbury Homeless Action Group and Wycombe Homeless Connections to examine the issue of homelessness in the third richest county in England.

These large format portraits are accompanied by audio recordings of conversations exploring the real life stories of eight people with very different experiences. QR codes linking to those recordings can be found at the bottom of this page.

The work is being exhibited as large scale 54”x44” prints in community spaces in Aylesbury and High Wycombe throughout 2023 with the aim to break down misconceptions and the stigma of homelessness.

Further details of these two wonderful organisations can be found here: https://www.ahag.org.uk and https://wyhoc.org.uk

If you would like to help support the extraordinary and important work they do, please consider purchasing a copy of the newspaper we produced: £5 from every copy sold goes straight to AHAG and WHC.

Each of these portraits is accompanied by an audio recording outlining the story of each person’s experience of Homelessness.

It is those audio recordings that are transcribed in the newspaper publication and although we have been unable to embed the audio in the picture files on this site each one can be heard via the following links:
